OK...   Below you will find screen shots of my version of FP, I feel quite certain that they are not too different, so just check it out and and away we go!

OK you have opened the program...say yes if it asks you if you want FRONT PAGE to be your defautl web editing tool. Then click on FILE.
Below is what the next screen should look like, a drop down menu should appear...click on OPEN WEB.

Next a box should appear..kinda like this one below. Your cursor should be flashing in the opening near the bottom copy / paste what follows here and paste it in the box where you curser was, on mine is says FOLDER NAME...                                                            copy this-->http://www.the-garrison.com         then click open.

Should look like this.....

Click OPEN....another box SHOULD appear, asking for a user name and a password, you should all have them, plug them in place, click OK!! At this point you can tell FP to save your pass word and user name for future use. Click the little check box.

The box then fills up with files and stuff...click OPEN!!!

Now it seems you are back at the beginning, but you are now ON THE WEB!!! LIVE!!! But...you have a few more steps left to get to YOUR FILES!!!

On the LEFT SIDE..scroll through and find your folder...in this case I chose SMITH..as is FRED SMITH...double click on it..left mouse...it opens to show you: a file called images and another thing called index.htm  index.htm is what your web page looks like in a kinda file form...double click it..the index thing that is!!!
Your web page should appear in the box to the right....ready for you to start writing in...to start with...click under your name and web address....and go from there...just get started...when you are ready to save
